The Fletcher Lady Wildcats wrapped up their regular season this past week winning two of three heading into the playoffs.
GIRLS - (1) EISENHOWER 77 LAWTON HIGH 55 LAWTON - The top five ranked Lady Eagles took to the floor looking to put their city rivals away early. The plan failed as Lawton High’s Kamryn Siemen went 4-of-4 from 3-point range, which got the LHS home crowd fired up.
GIRLS BASKETBALL Fletcher 22 Cyril 34 FLETCHER - On Tuesday, the Fletcher Lady Wildcats faced the Cyril Lady Pirates. At the end of the first quarter, the Lady Wildcats were ahead 8-2 with Jordan Bloomfield and Alexa Beathard making a 3-point basket each.
LAWTON - At the first game of the Comanche County Tournament, the Fletcher Lady Wildcats faced the Frederick Lady Bombers. After the first quarter, the Lady Cats were ahead 10-6 with Jordan Bloomfield scoring all 10 of the Lady Wildcats points.
LAWTON - Coming off an 11-22 season might seem like a bad season to most people, but it was an improvement for the Lawton High Wolverines baseball team.
There is plenty of potential, especially after beating the eventual state runner-up Westmoore in the State Regionals last spring.
