OKLAHOMA CITY - Last week the Oklahoma legislature passed a trio of house bills, signed by Governor Mary Fallin on the evening of March 29, 2018, allowing for the highest teacher salary pay raise in Oklahoma history.

ELGIN - While some students may be happy to have a few days off school during the Oklahoma Teacher Walkout, others who rely on receiving school lunches are not as eager to stay home.

OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) — A package of Oklahoma tax hikes aimed at generating hundreds of millions of new dollars for teacher pay and averting statewide school closures received final legislative approval Wednesday night.
