Elgin’s Youth Wrestling teams competed at Deer Creek on Saturday, Nov. 13 and came away with multiple placers in different divisions.

Swim season for the Elgin Boys and Girls swim teams began on Saturday, Nov. 13 when they traveled to Wichita Falls, Texas to swim against Wichita Falls and Duncan.

The Lady Owls took home first place at the meet while Owls finished in fourth place on the day.

CACHE — Seven students from Elgin, and four from Fletcher, placed in their respective categories at Monday’s American Farmers and Ranchers Southwest District Speech Contest in Cache.

ELGIN — It has been an up and down season for the Elgin Owls, but the season became more memorable when they beat their cross-county rivals, the Cache Bulldogs.

 

Cache broke on top when the Bulldogs blocked a punt in the endzone to take an early 6-0 lead.

Elgin’s Lady Owls softball team picked up District and Region awards this past week.

 

Hannah Endicott and Jordan Johnson earned District 4A-4 All District Honors while teammates Cora Holmgren, Mikayla Aronld and Jaemie Johns were selected as Honorable Mention for the District.
