Sequels have been around since the beginning of film.

No, really.

Silent films had sequels. Silent films had remakes.

It’s nothing new.

And making a sequel to a beloved franchise can be difficult. Just ask George Lucas.

So, you can forgive Pixar for some of the storytelling issues in The Incredibles 2, the long-awaited sequel to the 2004 hit The Incredibles.
