MEDICINE PARK - Turkey hunting enthusiasts from all around Comanche County amassed at the Medicine Park Music Hall on March 15, 2018, for the Wichita Mountain Broken Spurs 1st Annual National Wild Turkey Federation Hunting Heritage Banquet.

Founded in 1973, the NWTF is on a mission: “To the conservation of the wild turkey and preservation of our hunting heritage.”

The Wichita Mountain Broken Spurs Chapter is just one of the 44 NWTF chapters across Oklahoma. To stay in good standing, each chapter must host a Hunting Heritage Banquet every year.

The fundraising event offers games, gun raffles and auctions to raise funds to support wildlife, habitats, preserve hunting, support conservation, provide scholarship programs, school programs and more.
