CYRIL - At the edge of State Highway 19, two miles west of Cyril, stands a stop sign facing south on County Street 2670.

The bright red hexagon shape bearing the bold white letters STOP appears like any other typical state authorized stop sign. The county street, reworked just years ago to improve safety, shines black under the sun. Yellow paint divides the lanes while white marks the edge, still looking like new. Stretching east to west, State Highway 19 appears to be much in the same condition.
