CACHE - Deadly force was used to stop a gunman suspected of shooting his exwife, killing her boyfriend and injuring a Comanche County deputy in Cache on Sunday, Jan.6.

Comanche County Deputy William Perry sustained a gunshot wound, along with an eye injury, when the gunman fired upon law enforcement from his residence, peppering their vehicles with bullets. Sheriff Kenny Stradley also said one of those bullets went through a window of Deputy Perry’s vehicle hitting him in the shoulder and glass injuring his eye.

“He’s doing fairly well,” Stradley said. “He still has the bullet in him and has some glass in his eye.”
