ELGIN - A gully washing, frog strangling, torrential downpour rolled into Oklahoma Friday, Sept. 21, just in time to officially say goodbye to summer.

A record-breaking rain dumped over a foot of rain on the unincorporated community of Fittstown, located 11 miles south-southeast of Ada in Pontotoc County.
