The Longest Day. It’s a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World.

Those are just two famous examples of films with stellar, blockbuster casts. They were huge artistic commitments for everyone involved - cast, crew, producers, directors.

Add Avengers - Infinity War to the list.

The third Avengers film and the 19th film in the connected Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), Infinity War finally brings the promised evil and destruction of mad titan Thanos to the big screen.

Thanos (voiced and motion- captured by Josh Brolin) was featured first in a credits scene following the first Avengers film, and he had a prominent role in the first Guardians of the Galaxy a couple years later. In last year’s Guardians, Vol. 2, Thanos was never on screen, but his daughters - Gamora (Zoe Saldana) and Nebula (Karen Gillan) - made him the scariest villain of the film through their interactions and dialogue.
