Elgin 6, Duncan 3

 Elgin hosted the Duncan Lady Demons to open up the week. The Lady Owls soared out to an early lead when Hannah Endicott scampered home on a passed ball. Elgin extended the lead when Jaemie Johns doubled home Mikayla Arnold and Kelsey Jones to make it 3-0 Lady Owls. After Duncan scrapped a run back in the third inning, Elgin regained control thanks to the bats of Mikayla Arnold, Jordan Johnson and Cora Holmgren. The Lady Demons put together a late surge but the door was slammed shut and Elgin held on for the win.

Elgin 0, Eisenhower 8 

It was senior night when the Lady Owls welcomed the Eisenhower Lady Eagles to town. Elgin could not muster together a run and loss in a run rule. The Lady Owls did record two hits one off the bat of Hannah Endicott and the other off the bat of Mikayla Arnold.

Elgin 2, Sulphur 1

Elgin continued the homestand however this time it was playoff time. The Lady Owls hosted the Sulphur Lady Bulldogs in the District Play-In Series. It was as simple as best out of three, winner goes onto Regionals, loser sees their season come to an early end. Elgin took the early lead when Erin MacDonald singled up the middle to bring in Jaemie Johns to make it 1-0. The Lady Bulldogs tied the game up in the fourth inning to make things interesting. With two outs in the seventh inning, Jordan Johnson singled in Mikayla Arnold to earn the run rule win and set themselves up two attempts to earn one win to go to Regionals.

Elgin 13, Sulphur 8 

In game number two Sulphur jumped to a first inning lead. Elgin responded with back-to-back three run innings in the second and third innings to make it 6-1. After the two sides traded a run in the fourth inning, Elgin broke the game open with four runs in the fifth inning to take a commanding 11-2 lead. Sulphur answered back with six runs in the sixth inning to cut into the deficit. Both Hannah Endicott and Mikayla Arnold scored in the seventh inning to give Elgin back momentum and the Lady Owls held on to sweep the series. Elgin advances to the Regional Tournament where they will travel to Tuttle and take on the host to open up.
