Helen Irene Ramirez, 76, of Alvin, Texas, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, Nov. 29, 2020. Helen was born Sept. 15, 1944, in Sterling, and was a resident of Alvin for 46 years. Helen had many careers throughout the years. She was a beautician, real estate agent, travel agent, registered nurse and owned and operated a beauty supply in Friendswood, Texas. She loved the outdoors and was an avid gardener. Helen was preceded in death by her parents, James and Floyda Snider; her brother, James Snider; and daughter, Lydia Schaub.
Helen is survived by her husband, Yogi Ramirez; her daughters, Lynn Wootton and her husband, Wayne, Linda Garcia and her husband, Sammy, and Jeri Ramirez; her son, Curtis Tater and his wife, Dhana; sisters, Debbie Payne and her husband, Johnny; Barbara Bray and her husband, Rocky; brothers, Jerry Snider and his wife, Vickie, Roger Snider and his wife, Jane, Lonnie Snider and his wife, Terri; grandchildren, Alicia, Cody, Taylor, Jaime, Justine, Kandice, Megan and Sammy III; as well as numerous other relatives and friends.
Helen was a born-again believer who loved the Lord Jesus Christ above everything else. A visitation was held from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 6, 2020, at Scott Funeral Home. Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Monday, Dec. 7, 2020, at Scott Funeral Home. Interment followed immediately after services at South Park Cemetery in Pearland, Texas.
