COMANCHE COUNTY - A head on collision sent a Lawton teenager to the hospital with head injuries and shut down both lanes of US Highway 17 on Monday, Oct. 8.

The report from Oklahoma Highway Patrol Trooper Zachary Wright, said Tyler K. Hale, 19, was driving a 2011 Nissan Altima westbound on SH17, three miles west of Sterling between 135th and 150th Street, at 10:45 a.m. when he was hit head on by a pickup truck.
