ELGIN – As part of National Friends of Libraries Week, Oct. 16-22, Friends of Elgin Community Library will hold their quarterly meeting at 6 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 19 at the library, 108 Thoma Drive.
Approximately 90 local businesses, organizations and individuals make up the Friends of ECL. Through fundraising and volunteerism, the friends help support educational and entertainment initiatives for library patrons.
