Girls' Basketball Elgin 71 Cache 32

ELGIN - Elgin’s Lady Owls faced their Comanche County rivals on Tuesday, Jan. 8, and put the defensive clamps on the Lady Bulldogs.

After Cache scored 14 points in the 1st quarter, the Lady Owls defense took over the game and limited Cache's offense over the next three quarters.

Elgin did not lack on the offensive end, as four Lady Owls scored in double figures in the victory.

Izzy Cummins scored 27 points, Paige Pendley added 22 points, Kailah Ballou netted 11 points and Gabby Cummins scored 10 points.

The win runs The Lady Owls season record to 12-1.
