Eisenhower was back in the playoffs for the first time since 2017 and made a trip down Highway 7 to take on a familiar foe in the Duncan Demons. The Demons got on top early with a touchdown strike to make it 7-0. The Eagles responded back with a field goal to cut the lead down to four points. Duncan was able to punch in another touch- down on a pick-six to make it 14-3 before the half. Eisenhower could not get anything going in the second half and the Demons punched in one more score to make it 21-3 and put the nail in the coffin. Eisenhower sees their season come to an end at 2-7 with the loss.

LHS 14 B.T. Washington 56

Lawton High traveled to Tulsa to take on the Booker T. Washington Hornets. Booker T. got out to a fast start jumping up 13-0 in the blink of an eye. The Wolverines responded when Christian Houston got loose for a long touchdown run and after a successful two point conversion it was only 13-8. The Hornets settled back in and tacked on a touchdown and field goal to make it 23-8 at the half. Booker T. kept the momentum returning the opening kickoff of the second half to make it 30-8. Tulsa Washington scored the next 20 points of the contest to make it 37 unanswered points to secure the win. The Wolverines refused to go down without a fight when Devarius Hardy found Esaurian Gilmore-Kelly to make it 50-14. On the ensuing kickoff Joseph Kim hit a high hopping onside kick in which a Hornet jumped up and batted to his teammate who proceeded to run it back to the house as time expired to make it a final of 56-14. The Lawton High Wolverines finish 4-5 on the season after a promising 3-0 start.
